Zip Sips: Impactful Wichita Startup | Real Wealth Podcast S2:E2

In this episode Lacie talks about how she became an entrepreneur and grew in her leadership and creativity. She went to Kansas State and had a job in door to door book sales and got into insurance with a sister company. She moved to Mississippi and Texas before she came back to Kansas.

 

Her initial entrepreneur journey was with her first company Heartland Heritage a midwest lifestyle clothing brand. The logo is a quail and started with men's clothing and is still around today. 

 

Then Zipsip started when she had a Heartland Heritage branded koozie that could not fit a draft beer and she got to thinking why can't I get a koozie that can fit any size drink. 

 

 Lacie discusses her journey with growth and learning to run a business with Zipsip. She talks about her strength of building relationships and how she has built an amazing team and learned from them as well. 

 

She also discusses life hacks and what she has learned in life in general and how she has grown and focused on her own development and personal health despite her success in business.
